The term “Ecologies,” the title and the subject of this proposal, comes from the Greek meaning “household,” but here it is expanded to contain a more contemporary and holistic idea of ecology, that of a living household, comprised of interactions, impacts, exchanges and economies. It is an unrecognized singularity that is hidden within an imagined divide between the wild and the human. This work advocates for an awareness of stored resources; the benefits of conservation; and the recognition of the beauty and the value of the everyday.
