Common Sense: Taking the Stage
Presented as part of Hephaestos Challenged, "Common Sense" is a collaborative project undertaken with Lisa Austin January 16 - March 1, 2014 at the Cleveland State University Galleries. The installation consisted of a review of Lisa Austin's failed campaign for city councilman of Erie, PA. My part of the project was The Stage. Providing a microphone and a platform, The Stage offered an opportunity for members of the public to stand up and have their say.
As a whole "Common Sense" focused on the individual's role and responsibility to participate in government and the public discourse.
